GOToronto: GO Transit Sidekick App Reviews

Im using iPad Air2. The Calendar does not allow to select the specific date. It only works for the current date, but if a specific date is selected, then it jumps back to January 1st, 2016. Wish this to be fixed.

Fabulous app! I work several different shifts for work in Toronto and Im always referring to the train schedule both to and from work. Easy to use and has everything I need. More valuable now since the official GO train app is obsolete. Keep up the great work.

As if $8 train & bus rides werent ridiculous enough, they take down the free app that worked much better than this one. Waste of money, but does its job... Which is giving us bus times. Which we should be able to get for free. Thanks.

This app is really useful if you frequently use GO Transit. I like perfect time table for both trains & buses. Platform information at Union station is very helpful.

Easy to use, use all the time with no problem. UPDATE: Now that the original GO app shutdown this is a must get. Keep up the good work!!

Great App. I use the Go transit daily. Even though I had to pay its worth it and gives you real-time updates.

I’ve been using this app since the beginning and it has improved with every release. Highly recommended.

The information given is amazing. MUCH better than the old official app, and the UI layout is somewhat similar to the television displays in the stations. 10/10

I have been using this app for 2+ years, and i must say it is the most reliable app for information on my mobile devices. The app is intuitive, the information is accurate, and I never have to spend time figuring out anything with the schedule..it just works! Metrolinx should be using your app!!

I dont mind maying for this app where as the old one made by ryerson was free however, at least have the same useful info as the old app! This one is not visually appealing. The go train status page is not user friendly. This app doesnt give alerts for your train line (eg Kitchener line) or allows you to save favourite schedules so you have to click through every time to find schedules for your stops.

Would be nice if you could customize your favourite route and easily just see that on screen. Seeing all Go Train lines arent relevant to most riders.

Awesome app....... Love that it actually tells you how much the trip is going to cost. Also very detailed train schedule....... Highly recommended

Essentially this is just a scrap of data that already is better displayed on the mobile version of the website. Very poor user interface and graphics.

So nice to be able to see the platform displays on your phone and to see the times and duration to plan out your trip.

The new app charges now so I thought it would be better and more efficient - but no. They dont have an option to save favourites (only all history is saved as fave) and most importantly it misses the Hamilton-Union bus schedule -this is a huge glitch considering that bus runs every 20-30 mins and is one of the highest traffic routes.

Nothing else compares for GO transit. Money well spent. Highly recommend this app!

Not only do you have to pay for the app now. It wont allow me to pick my own date to schedule a trip and it keeps asking me to download an extra 2.6MB for an updated schedule. Waste of money.

I have been using this app for years and have found it indispensable.

I think it totally sucks that GO no longer supported the original app, thus we now all have to buy yours. I have not been able to open it on my iPad even though I paid for it, tried deleting it to re add it and not able to It works great on my iPhone but really it should be free
